Hey everyone, ImHungry here! Just wanted to thank you all for being such great members and helping this community grow and continuing to help it grow! As we add new members, I want to keep our community strong so please feel free to help us in continuing to welcome new members and making them feel welcome. We couldn’t have built this without all of your help!

Oh yeah, a lot of people have asked how we pronounce ‘iby’ which is short for ibeatyou. It’s pronounced ‘ibee’ or the name Libby without the ‘L’ and iby’s are awards you can give to other members. I’d also love to come up with a name for all of us collectively as members on the site…….Let me know if you guys have some suggestions for names.

Thank you all for feedback regarding new features! I also want to take a moment to update you all on some new and current features you may not be aware of…..

- Last night we released a new feature on our Leaderboard which actually lets you see how you rank against your friends and foes (don’t worry you can still see how you rank against the whole community as well!). Since it might be difficult at first to catch the likes of JumpmanSF, charleeeboy, briankelley and the rest of the leaders, you can now see how you rank against your friends! All you have to do is click on the show me tab next to ‘me against the world’ and ‘top 25 power rankings’. Speaking of catching the leaders, as we get more competitors and entries in our competitions, the points for the winners increase, so the current leaders can be caught!

- We also have a ‘groups’ section on our site which can be found when you scroll over ‘people’ on the blue navigation bar on every page. Feel free to create your own groups and compete with people that share your same interests! Besides the standard public groups, you can also create private groups and do private competitions for personal entries you may not feel comfortable sharing with everyone. Only people in your private group will be able to see these entries. However, if you want to share how awesome your group is with the rest of the world, feel free to go with the public group setting.

- Another interesting feature we have is called ‘recordkeeper’ (this can be found in the blue navigation bar when you scroll over ‘my stuff’). In recordkeeper, you can use it to keep track of how you do against friends in competitions you may not be able to upload to ibeatyou as videos, pictures or text. So for example, in the house of iby (believe it or not, we live together as well, haha), we love playing Madden Football. So whenever we play a game on our Xbox 360, we upload the record and score through recordkeeper. The best part is that whenever an entry is made in the recordkeeper, this is broadcast in the pulse on the home page and in the ticker in your profile page. So it gives you additional bragging rights!

If you haven’t already, check these features out and let us know what you think! Thanks again for being such great members and I’m looking forward to competing with you all and adding to my beatdowns (currently at 7)!

Best,

ImHungry
