We have some new updates for you:
- New Customizable Profile Skins - Pimp your profile now with themes. Leave 10 entry comments (or rate 10 entries) and invite 10 friends to the site and have them register. Remember, for invites to count, you have to get your friends to register on the site. We have an initial set of skins. Keep an eye out for more coming down the road……check out mine to see one of them! Or, maybe, you are the athletic type? Or are you just a pure pink kinda person, like Mike? Or just a ROCKSTAR!, like Wayne.
- Editable Entries - You all have been asking a while for this, so we’re glad to say that you can now edit your entries. To do this, go to your competition log and you’ll see an ‘Edit this’ button next to each of your entries. We now allow you to edit the title and description for your entry. However, to preserve the integrity of our competitions, you cannot change your actual entry or the details for the overall competition.
- New Profile Page Layout - Check it out folks. Ah yes, minor thing.
- Time Stamps on Entries - Now, you can see who submitted their entry first.
- Enhanced search - We’ve cleaned up our search interface a bit.

Hey Everyone,
Glad you all like our new profile skins! Quite a few of you have been asking me about the skins and here are some answers to your questions:
- To earn these skins, you need to have voted on or commented on a minimum of 10 entries and get at least 10 of your friends to register for the site. This is retroactive so you have earned credit since January.
- The skins are currently enabled for the ibeatyou team members (bongster, cashmoney, flashgordon, imhungry, mike, rsoni, steve and waynster). However, will be available at 1am Pacific time tonight for the rest of the members that qualify.
- Remember, to earn the registration part of the credit, we look at people that have registered. I’ve heard from some people that once they send an invite, they’ll call their friends as well or send another email from their personal email account to get them on as a lot of times emails get missed.
- So there are few ways you can invite friends to the site:
1) click on the ‘find your friends or invite them’ button on the top right hand side of every page - once you click on this, you’ll have the option of accessing your email accounts, typing in emails directly or choosing the option to create an invite link which you can then IM to your friends or post on any sites you want. These invite links will directly link back to your ibeatyou account
2) you can invite friends when you start or join a competition
3) you can invite friends by clicking the ’share it’ or ‘invite’ button under each entry as well
- You will know if you have earned these skins already as there will be a popup starting at 1am tonight which will appear in your profile to let you know that you have earned the skins.

If we’re under 10 registered users, will there be something that shows how many we have? I know I have less than 10 but I’m curious how many more I need to get there.
