FOUL! What’s the deal with “All Me?”
Hey guys!
GotGame here. I want to welcome all the new users and congratulate everyone who really stepped up their game this week! The staring competition is off the charts! Nice work.
I’ve been getting a lot of emails about fouls and the “All Me” button so I wanted to clear a couple of things up.
When you create an entry, there’s a little box you can check that designates the entry as “All Me.” “All Me” means that your entry is original and about you, by you, or features you (or your stuff). If your entry finishes in top 3, you get 2x points! And who doesn’t want extra points?? BUT since there are extra points involved, you have to make sure you’re using the feature correctly. Please try to be careful, because once you create the entry, you can’t go back and edit “All Me.” Luckily, I can edit it! So if I see that it’s been misused, I’ll disqualify the “All Me” use and send you a message. The rest of your entry will remain in the competition just the way you created it. I know it’s hard to resist checking that box, but that’s probably why some of you have been getting extra fouls recently.
Speaking of fouls… please don’t be too concerned if you see your foul count going up. Only members of the iby team can foul an entry out. You guys are doing a great job of making sure everyone follows the rules! Just remember, fouls should be called when “All Me” is used incorrectly or an entry violates the guidelines set for the competition. They shouldn’t be used just because someone is your foe.
My first week was a ton of fun! I even managed to talk Imhungry into working the runway. Thanks to everyone who stopped by my profile to say hello! There have been so many cool competitions started recently- I gotta get back to the site and work on my entries!

I still have no idea what the “All Me” is about. I think I might understand it better if you give us examples of when we can and cannot use it.

If you take a picture of something yourself or make a video of something yourself then you can put ALL ME. If you find a picture or video on the net that is something you like or something that relates to you, but, you did not create it yourself you should not hit ALL ME.
I’ve only been around the site for a few days but this problem seems to be running rampant. There are quite a few people who put ALL ME on EVERYTHING they submit and they are doing it strictly for the points. It’s very frustrating.
