Two Ibeatyou users faceoff in the great USC vs. UCLA Debate!

Hey everybody!

It’s me, rbowers. For those of you who don’t know, I work at IBY in the marketing department out here in SUNNY CALIFORNIA. In recent news, last night I not only represented IBY in our first offline promotional event but I represented the University of Southern California (USC) as my school battled our cross town rivals UCLA in a series of competitions at the Victoria Secret 1st annual Pinkapalooza on the Santa Monica Pier.

The event consisted of 3 extremely competitive and nail biting competitions which included a water-balloon toss, a basketball shoot out, and a skee ball tournament. Throughout the 3 competitions, our school spirit was unmatched by UCLA as the USC football and spirit team showed up to give there support and sing a series of chants that left our cross town rivals ashamed and embarrassed for even showing up to the event. At the end of the night, the host for Pinkapalooza announced that USC had won and got the chance to go back stage and introduce the band Fallout boy before they performed live on the Santa Monica Pier. To top it off, USC is now going to get a special tailgating party/concert before our football game against UCLA this December. Go Trojans and FIGHT ON!!!!!!!!!!!!

What-EVER, rbowers. University of Second Choice is more like it! I’m a UCLA girl myself, and I checked out the event in Santa Monica too. What I saw? UCLA DOMINATING! I don’t know how you guys managed to step it up and win at the end. It was pretty funny to see the SC football players dancing around, though. But UCLA was out in full force with blue and gold body paint, flags, and banners making fun of the the Trojan’s V for Victory hand sign (it always looks like they’re saying that they’re #2, which is an accurate statement). I cannot even believe that you have the audacity to claim that USC’s school spirit was unmatched last night. Hello! UCLA brought the dance party! They hoisted girls up on their shoulders! And danced with random dudes wearing pink fanny packs! The UCLA 8 Clap drowned out whatever silly Trojan chant you guys were doing. Sorry, I didn’t catch the words, you were barely chanting above a whisper. Weak.

Congrats on saving a little face at the end by winning the water balloon toss. Have fun at that pre-game tailgate party before the big game. You might as well enjoy a little bit of the day before the football game starts and UCLA runs all over you! UCLA will always be better than USC.
