It’s our time to shine and by “our”, I mean us regular folks. Those of us that don’t have a 40 inch vertical, can’t bench press 225 pounds or can’t run a 4.4 40. This is for us regular folk that love to eat one extra donut, decide that today just isn’t the day to work out or choose to take the elevator over the stairs because our ankles hurt. This is the People’s Olympics on ibeatyou! Ok ok, since I know Baron Davis (aka Boomdizzle) and some of our other MVPs (ahem… Steve Nash, Jessica Alba) are dying to compete and let’s be frank, are in much better shape than most of us will ever be, we’ll open this up to everyone, athletic or not (in our case)! This is it: The events are set and the playing field is the same for everyone. The 2008 ibeatyou Olympics in Your Living Room! (No $3,000 ticket to Beijing required)
The ibeatyou team has spent decades thinking of the best events that you can do in the comfort of your own living room. We have narrowed the list down to 30 events, ranging from best nerf dunk to best boxing knock out pose to best badminton outfit to your hottest Olympic body. These 30 are split evenly among video, photo and text based competitions.
As with the “other” Olympics in Beijing, the 2008 ibeatyou Summer Olympics run from August 8 to the 24th. So be sure to get your entries in so you can show the world how skilled you really are! The top three point getters in these Olympics will win the first inaugural ibeatyou trophies along with some other cool ibeatyou gear and some mvp prizes!

I thought this website was originally intended to allow the celeb’s to have fun and compete outside of the prime-time spotlight… thus far, I haven’t seen it.
Come on Baron, Steve, Jessica… compete in some down to earth competitions! Cash and I are already neck and neck in the “One Minute Pentathlon.” BOW DOWN when I come to yo town!
