Aaaahh……points. What doth I say about thee?
Points are wonderful and versatile. One can earn ‘em one by one, slow and steady (e.g., by commenting on entries, logging in, and rating entries), or one can get ‘em in a bunch (e.g., submitting entries into competitions, getting your friends to take your awesome quiz).
One might get a TON of points at once, like a sudden, monstrous tidal wave, by getting a beatdown in a MVP competition (e.g., check out Kiko17’s HUGE HUGE win), or one might have several hundred points docked because one cheated or created a bad quiz or competition to get some easy points (i.e., what GotGame giveth, GotGame taketh away!). Cheaters, beware.
Points can sometimes be wonderful to lose, if they are going to a friend (e.g., when you give an iby award to a friend like RedHotRenee). Points can sometimes be a burden, when one has much to lose and many foes awaiting to pounce on your rank.
But points, ultimately, you are my light, my darkness, my ambassador of kwan. Points, I cherish thee.

Sorry everyone, that was horrible. Very embarassed. I was only trying to make a point (no pun intended!) that here at ibeatyou HQ, we hope that everyone on ibeatyou has fun getting and giving points. Also, wanted to point (whoops, totally not intentional!) out a few things on the site:
Video bonus!: We LOVE seeing all you IBY’ers in video competitions. Starting from today, winning video entries (top 3) that are All Me will have an additional triple point multiplier bonus! 3×2 multiplier = THAT’S A LOT OF POINTS, SON!! Get your webcams out already!!- Quiz penalties: Remember, you can get PENALIZED for creating quizzes solely for just getting easy points, just like in competitions. We all love points as much as the next person (hence my above Ode), but we REALLY love fun and interesting quizzes. So, please keep in mind that if you get your quizzes removed because of general quiz-crappiness, you WILL be penalized and lose points! So keep those good quizzes coming!

YEY I’m so glad that we get more points now for videos! I know a lot of people (fire_incarante, UpRooted, Team_DK, QueenLeilani) who work so hard on editing for that WOW factor. They truely deserve it!!
