The holidays are in full swing. This means parties, presents and, best of all, family pictures! Family pictures have come a long way thanks to digital cameras with self-timers and red-eye removal, but it can still be hard to get a good shot. We’ve compiled some tips to ensure your family photos are perfect.
Check your background. Beautiful scenery can easily ruined by an unwanted shot of bush.
Don’t leave any family member out, or they will have their revenge.
What to wear is always a challenge, but we recommend anything over nothing.
Utilize that self timer to ensure memories are made.
Try not to scar your children in the process of maintaining holiday whimsy.
Being too matchy/matchy is never a good thing.
Make sure poses aren’t inadvertently sexual.
Some think group photos by the fireplace are cliché, we disagree.
Sometimes using force to get the kids to agree to a picture is okay- just don’t cross the line.
Family portraits are no time for adding to the family.
