Yes, you just read correctly. Some knife-wielding son of a bitch stabbed 2 people. One is dead and one is critical. The victims were family members of the coach of th US volleyball team there.
The bastard then jumped 130 feet and committed suicide. (see more)

Much of the world's populace is overweight, including myself. There should be events representative of that. Perhaps more mentally stimulating events. So the worst thing is that there are too many athletic types. (see more)

i think the worst thing about the olympics is when someone gets hurt, they have worked so hard to get there and then it just gets ripped right from them. (see more)

Why would Russia attack Georgia during what is supposed to be one of the most peaceful times between countries. AND, the athletes from Georgia might have to pull out because of the attack. Going to the olympics is suppossed to be one of the happiest times of your life, not one plagued by war and sadness... (see more)

The worst thing is that it's on the other side of the world so I have no chance of seeing any of the events live. Once It's back in the USA again, I will definitely try to go, probably with my dad. Another thing that sucks though is that it is probably etremely expensive to go watch the events live and the stadiums/gyms/event areas are always packed. (see more)

He was trying to qualify 4 th weigh in so he made himself sweat so much so he cud lose water weight and didnt drink any water. Because of this he suffered extreme dehydration and was found unconsciouses. By 5 a.m. he felt betterafter they fed him and gave him bottles of water. But the rush of fluids and food had pushed his weight to 123 pounds. He scrambled, looking for ways to lose the added weight. Then he looked out the window and saw a bus driving away with the boxing team, headed to the weigh-in. He was out of the Olympics. (see more)

Okay, well this is interesting to see and all because you get to see all of the countries and athletes who are going to compete. And especially when your own country comes out, everything is exciting. BUT the whole thing takes FOREVER! It took over TWO hours for all the countries to come out. And the very worst thing this year was that it wasn't in alphabetical order so the only way I could see USA come out was to watch the entire parade!! And I hate waiting, haha. (see more)

The worst think would be when you are watching the Olympics and their is you favourite athlete, the one you've been waiting to see do his thing, but when he's about to do his thing, he gets seriously hurt and that thing doesn't get done. (see more)

It was before the Olympics. When all these Chinese citizens got kicked out of their homes, which were later torn down for the Olympics venues. Plus the worst thing about it was The government didn't pay them any reparations. They were left homeless and broke on the streets.

And those same people are still behind their Country and watching the Olympics.

the pressure on the athletes is the worst. i hurd this story about a chinese man who came in 2 and his country was so disapointed in him he trained so hard and when he got injured he killed himself cuz he couldn't do it anymore. (see more)
