Well it depends if your on the phone or not. If you are on the phone, the best way to avoid the question is by saying " What did you say, I can't hear you, let me call you back". And by the time you call them back they forgot about it or you already thought of the answer lol. (see more)

I never say this but I have a friend who ALWAYS answers everything with: "UR MOM!" It gets veeeery annoying. (see more)
