Childhood Fear

My older cousin made me watch "IT" when I was little and when I say little i mean, clowns were awesome. So what happens? I watch the movie and have to sleep in my mums bed with her for 2 monthes....yay (see more)

When I was about three my parents used to tell me, "Ooh, look at the man in the moon." thinking that I'd be fascinated, but instead it totally scared the crap out of me! Every time we'd have to go outside at night I'd cover my face while kicking and screaming that I didn't want to see the Man in the Moon!  (see more)

when i was little i was terrified of the wizard of oz. it still kind of freaks me out now! i would go and hide at the part when the flying monkeys would rip the stuffing out of the scarecrow (see more)

I hated the dark when I was a kid, especialy when I had to go into the basement...  (see more)

When i was about 6 or 7 i was scared of AUTOMATIC TOILETS. Sometimes they really scared me because they could be so loud sometimes. They hurt my little ears. (I'm not scared of them any more!) (see more)

where did this idea even come from? its like AIDS for little children. i remember that boys wud never wanna come near the girls and if u got cooties u wud need the cootie shot and have to say "circle circle, dot dot, i got my cootie shot, or sumthing like that. (see more)

When I was younger, my uncle had a big spider collection (gross I know) and the spiders were alive...he kept them in the garage...one day, the garage was opened and I had a huge spider on my sholder...I hate and fear spiders since then (see more)

I was DEATHLY afraid of the Chuck. E. Cheese characters! Whenever I went there, I'd hide under the table and have people pass me down pizza. I even ran screaming from Chuckie himself! :P (see more)

Being afraid of making a mistake
Being afraid of saying good bye
Being afraid because you disobeyed your parents
Being afraid of lying
Being afraid doing things that are wrong
Being afraid to grow up...
Being afraid of not being yourself anymore to act like someone else
And as we grow and leave childhood, these fears are left with childhood and don't seem to worry us anymore like it should (see more)

When I was young, my family used to go camping at the reservoir by our house. My mom used to keep stale bread to feed to the geese and, on one occasion, gave the bread to my older brother (who was known for tormenting me) and sent us on our way. My brother gave me half a piece of bread and refused to give me more when I ran out. He then thought it was hysterical to push me towards the thirty or so geese, at least five of which were hissing and flapping their wings at me. I was young, so those things were about as big as I was.
Needless to say, my number one irrational fear my entire life has been geese.
