Because we get ALL the seasons! Fall is gorgeous yet rainy, spring is warm with flowers in bloom, summer is HOT HOT HOT, and winter we get SNOW! We never have earthquakes, tsunamis, tornadoes, hurricanes.. not a single natural disaster! You can get the city life (Portland) or the Country (Pendleton), the 'burbs... We really have it all here in Oregon. You can also snowboard and ski year round on Mt. Hood. Oregon is nice and safe and pretty. Oh yeah we have TREES haha lots of trees. and some hippies but they're pretty nice. Oregon pretty much rocks! (see more)
