Okay, not that everything that's being said is right or wrong, but I have lived on the streets for approx. 6 years. Was it a choice, sadly, yes. There are alot of things to say to a homeless person, but to yell "GET A JOB!" is over-rated. I mean think about it, say the person is a veteren, but got a dishonorable discharge for something he did...Now is it fair, to yell at a man that was willing to give HIS life for you and your country. I mean not all homeless people are like this, alot choose to be that way, just for kicks, no responsibilities, and the freedom. But unless they want the help, it doesn't matter what you say. And unless you know what's wrong is it fair for us to say anything? So to me the best thing really is to ask questions, and then offer advice.
