Best Election Day Experience

I didn't have to vote yesterday, because I already did. Instead, I got my hair cut, made a few calls to people in Nevada and North Carolina for Obama, and then proceeded to get silly drunk.

I went to a bar and told some chick who was playing a gun arcade game that she looked 'a lot like Sarah Palin.' She sent her boyfriend after me to rough me up. Weird. He looked like Buddy Holly, which would have been hilarious had he 'fought' me, because then I'd know what it is like to fight Buddy Holly.

Luckily, I deftly defused the situation (daredus wanted to kill the no-sense-of-humor-having douchebag) and went on with my merriment.

The last thing I remember, I was sitting on a curb trying to decide if I should go back and talk to a girl I had been chatting up, but then I realized I was too drunk to walk, so I thought better of it.

Oh...did I mention that OBAMA won!

I got to the polling place right when it opened, but it still took an hour to get in and vote. Having to wait in line is never fun, but you could feel the excitement.
After voting, I headed to Starbucks for my free coffee and then refreshed all the news sites as often as I could.
Went to a Declare Yourself event that evening and there was even more energy as all the polls closed and the electoral votes came in. Watching McCain and Obama speak about the results was amazing.
It wasn't my first time voting, it won't be my last, but I think it might be the most exciting political experience I have for a long time. (see more)

In and Out... no lines for me. But the free coffee at starbucks was a plus!!!! Then i went to my grams n ate steamed clams and watched my vote bring in a WIN! long live Obama! (see more)

Im only 17 so im still not old enough to vote. (or win prizes on IBY) but my mommy took me to vote with her and i pulled the big lever.. It was a pretty cool experiance.. it was like a slot machine ( Which i cant even play because im too young!!!) (see more)
