Mine is in homage to Michael Jordan. When I think of competing and beatdowns, MJ is the master, and he's my favorite athlete of all time...and Jumpman is what the Jordan logo is called...There is a story though...I actually signed up initially with my own name and the "Jumpman" logo as my icon (only a few hundred members then, some of you might remember). When stars were signing up, there was a concern that someone might see the logo and think MJ is on (no joke, after BoomDizzle started posting stuff, someone saw my logo and asked one of the founders if Michael Jordan was on the site, clearly had not looked at my entries!). So to make a long story short I dropped the Jumpman logo and changed name to JumpmanSF to keep paying homage to the man. Added SF because I live in the bay area, close to San Francisco and previously lived in SF for 7 years. Whew, I'm long winded somtimes... (see more)
