Dumbest Relationship Fight

One of my exes asked me a question. I gave her the correct answer.

She didn't believe me, so she called her Mom to ask.

I was young and egotistical, and this somewhat offended me at the time. In my defense, I wanted her to know that I could provide for her, could answer questions she had, or could at the very least 'out-google' her Mom if it came to it.

Stupidly, and indefensibly, I was offended when she called her Mom after asking me and checked out my answer. Her Mom confirmed that I was right, but that she didn't trust my answer was a little hurtful.

Granted, her mother is a doctor and is a genius, but it still stung a little to have to have my answer checked.

I was too proud to realize that WHO REALLY CARES?

Pride is a sonofabitch... It was all my fault, and we got in an argument about it. I should've not been so threatened by her need to verify with her own Mother, but like I said - I was young and needed to prove myself.

A little less than a year ago, my then-boyfriend, told my best friend that he got ridiculously hammered at a strip club after hours and slept with a stripper a few nights before. She, of course, immediately told me. Being a manipulative woman, I didn't mention anything to the boyfriend, just waiting to see what he would do. The dumb fight out of this is that HE was livid that my best friend told me and that was what our argument ended up being about, not that he's an alcoholic and cheated on me with someone that probably gave him an STD that he wasn't going to tell me about. (see more)

when my other half and i used to work in NYC, our offices were near each other's. we met up for lunch one time at a new place and after eating, we began to part ways. i dunno why, but we started disagreeing over where her office was.

me: ok, see you later. by the way, you should be going that way back to the office. that's West.

her: what? no, uh, i think i know where i work. i should be going this way.

me: what? no! that way!

her: no, shut up! this way!

[repeat 20x times]

finally, an old lady, who happened to be walking by, came up to us, and shouted at us:

"IT'S BOTH WAYS, OKAY?!! JUST SHUT UP!" (see more)

I commented my boy cousins picture on myspace saying "Aw cute! i miss you!". My boyfriend ignored me for a week and then finally said he was mad because i told another guy i missed him. so stupid. haha (see more)
