What are you doing for earth day?

I am going to recycle a bunch of stuff. Also I am going to play baseball instead of playing videogames so I can not waste electricity.  (see more)

First i will spray 10 cans of hair spray into the air, next i will chop down any tree i see, after that i will go buy a hummer and burn as much gas as i can.

but it was the movie EARTH, and each ticket you buy, they would plant a tree. talk about helping out (see more)

It's a usual day for me cause i'm not really a helper of the environment.

Here in Brazil had several people who left the lights of their homes for 1 min.! I do not play anything on the floor, and like to recycle ... this is what I do! (see more)

i drank a coke, and recycled then bottle. THEN!, I ripped paper out of my notebook in rage, then recycled it.
I recycled about 7 empty water bottles that I found at the bottom of my backpack.. and that's pretty much it!

I flew from DC to LA on a Virgin America flight on Earth Day.
(Yeah, I know. Not a good start.)
On board the plane, I donated money to a carbon off-set program and was awarded a complimentary Tree-Tini. Which was comprised of Veev Acai-based liquor and ginger ale.
(Veev is kinda like vodka. The drink was very tasty. I had to order another.)
I also received a card explaining that Virgin, Veev and some non-profit were all matching my donation in one way or another. The card itself had a note that it could be planted and would in turn grow into a tree.
I haven't planted the card yet, but I'm pretty excited about that.
Also, I plan to have another Tree-tini while I plant it.
