Freedom in America

Americans aren't free at all. You have so many rules and restrictions its hilarious, for example you blur out but cracks and you bleep out the word shit. In Australia we do neither of these things and it is one of the safest places with the least amount of crime, yet Americans are shielded from so much its stupid and you have the highest amount of crime not to mention how many stripper bars you have! Obviously its not working censoring everything! You cant cross the road without getting a fine! omg seriously? LOL...I could go into other shit but LAND OF THE FREE you are not! (see more)

Let me first say I quit smoking a few years ago, and I think the smell is disgusting. With that being said, making smoking illegal in bars is wrong. Making a law like this infringes on every1s freedom. Let smoking bans be a choice of the owners, if they don't want smokers in their bar fine, they will lose the smokers, but they will gain my business and that of many other non smokers. At the same time, if an owner prefers to allow smokers that's awesome, I wont go there, but smokers will. Let capitalism dictate, not legislation. This same ideal can and should be applied to many things with 1 exception, children. Making bans on cigarettes in children infested areas is fine, protect the kids, making seatbelt laws for kids is great. (see more)

Okay, so, I don't have a specific topic in mind...
Just want to say that this United States of America is supposed to be "The Land of the Free." We should be able to live and let live... I think that if we went back to our very basic "kindergarten rules", life would be more pleasant to deal with...
