oddest OCD habit

I used to just hate odd numbers, still kind of do actually... But i remember when i was younger, I used to count all the words in my sentences to make sure it was even. If not, i'd add an extra word.  (see more)

whenever i make the slightest mistake while taking down notes, i tear up the page and write on a new one. (see more)

when i was a kid my granma would always bring me apples with those weird web like packing to it, as if spider man was in charge of that particular area of the factory..anyway, before i eat an apple i would take the webby thing and put it on my arm and i would flex my muscles for no reason at all and try to break the web thing..lol (see more)

I can't work for 10 mins. straight w/out checking my IBY notifications.

Once I check them, I immediately check again thinking I got a new one within those few milliseconds! (see more)

When i was young, all evenings, during many years, before going to bed, i asked my parent if the gas pipe (from the gas stove) was close. (see more)

I have to take steps in sets of three...if I land on a two, I feel weird. I don't have to count out the three's either...my mind just knows when I hit them and when I am not on a step that will add up to a divisible by three number... (see more)

In my book case, the books have to be arranged according to width and size. My closet is arranged according to color, item, and material. All of the file folders in my filing cabinet have to be the same color and be alphabetized. Just to name a few. My therapist (yes I said therapist) says its a need to control my life. I think I'm just a neat freak. (see more)

whenever i walk on the sidewalk i never step on the cracks. if my pace is gonna end me up on a crack i jump to the next square. (see more)

I hate touching door knobs(those that aren't from my house), but I never touch those ones from the public restrooms... Never!!!!!! (see more)

i cant walk anywhere near drains, especially not over them.. i have to be at least two meters away (see more)

Everytime someone touches my wallet....just touch, they don't even have to open it or anything.....I have to buy a new wallet. I have like 20 of them already...NO JOKE. (see more)

Is it wrong that I'm compelled to count every tile in every restroom I walk in to? (see more)

1st: i over lock everything and what i mean by that is i always check to make sure things are locked..i check like 10 times, my house, my car etc. i will trun around no matter how far i've driven or walked to check my locks.

2nd: i wash my hands repeatedly in hot hot burning water with soap and then sanitize them cuz im scared of germs.

3rd: when i see more than one of the same item i have to line them up next to eachother pefectly ie. remotes, coasters, pencils etc.

4th: i cant leave a timer on the microwave i HAVE to turn it off..cant stand it! (see more)

B4 I go to bed every night without fail I do a spider / roach search of my room and then if I leave my room for anything, I do the search all over again! (see more)

I wipe off my earphones before I use them. Every time. I don't even know when I started doing this. (see more)

I check to make sure that the phone is on its hook everytime and anytime I can. It bugs me beyond belief if the phone is not charging on its cradle. (see more)
