well I'm a wee bit too old but in 1988, I was elidgable and actually trained at the Olympic Center, only it was not made a trial sport that year- wasn't until 1992...so I missed out :(

Yes really, I loved every minute of it and I miss it like crazy- I am glued to the tv for all Speed Skating events :)
