Life Changes Since 9/11

A lot has changed. My sister was suppose to be on the same HUMV as Jessica Lynch. But she got honorably discharged for personal reasons. My sister was suppose to be the navigator for the trip but instead her friend Lori Piestowa was. And she was the first woman to die in war. It just shows you how much you have, and not to take anyone for granted. I learned to appreciate my sister a lot more. My dad was also in Vietnam so I've learned a great deal from the military. =] (see more)

Since that Tragic incident i have been living my life to its fullest, never know what could happen, it could just end like a flash of light! :) (see more)

I appreciate the time I have with my family, because I have to stay away from them for years at a time. It has forced me to witness “firsts” over the internet; through pictures and emails. I have experienced many new things in my life, not all of them good. But I am a proud husband, father and soldier, and I will continue living my life to the fullest. (see more)

It was one of the few times I thought I might die - constantly hearing jets in the sky, not sleeping, being questioned by national guard on my street corner.

Since then, I've moved out of nyc and occasionally stare at low flying planes. I don't know that the country is any safer today or that we're any smarter about terrorism and how to stop it. (see more)
