Worst Thing About Saturday

Saturdays are amateur hour on a smaller scale.

If I haven't made the point abundantly clear by now, I'm an unabashed booze-hound. That said, I can safely say that I have no qualms visiting a watering hole any hour of any given day.

Saturdays, much like New Year's Eve and St.Patrick's Day, are the days where the tepid novice enters my watering-hole. They are 'amateur nights'.

Usually unsure of themselves - or worse, bent only on sexual conquest and only tangentially concerned with libations I myself seek exclusively - the 'amateurs' flock to bars on Saturdays. They get in the way. It takes longer to get a drink when you have to wade through a bunch of dolled up, wanna-be playboys and starlets who really just seek attention. I seek another solace entirely - Jack Daniels!

Now get outta my way, amateurs. I'm on important business here, and I'm a trained professional. I need to drink the pain away...

i have college all week and alos basketball at night so the only day i can work is saturdays......ok i get money but where i work i stand outside from 9-5 in the winter...not good (see more)

Kids are home and so is my future husband. All 3 are the biggest slobs. I feel like I'm cleaning most of the day and getting nowhere. When I don't clean on weekends it takes me hours on Monday once they are all back to school and work. But at least we have family time. (see more)
