Here's my sequence:
Kick him in the shin to stun him, hit a judo arm throw, freeing the gun from his grasp. Then he'd end up on his back, and then I'd have my right knee on his throat, his left arm squeezed in my right leg, and his right bicep in my left armpit while I'm smashing his face in with the gun (which is in my free right hand.). Then eventually he'd be either dead or unconscious from me just kicking his ass.
If he's a taller guy I'd just dive at his kneecaps with my shoulders, then when he stumbles back I'd pop up and hit a sweeping kick to hit the side of his leg and tear his ACL (Anterior Cruciate Ligament), making him immobile. Then I'd probably kick his ass. (see more)
