Of course it was the egg. Organsism has changed so often. From primitiv 1 cell animals up to homo sapiens. So an organism made an egg and inside the egg there was the chicken as whe now it.  (see more)

i think the chicken came first because the chicken can evolve from something else lke another bird and then have an egg with another chicken inside, but an egg cant evolve so it must have been the chicken (see more)

Its never said it had to be a "chicken" egg. Dinosaur eggs came before chickens and their eggs! (see more)

I believe that however we started whether it was God or something else, chickens were created first...not the eggs of all the different creatures but the actual creature itself. (see more)
