Recently, while playing basketball, I tore my ACL, which most often occurs during sports when an athlete suddenly pivots causing excessive rotational forces on the ligament. I also managed to tear and displace my meniscus, which is the cartilage between the thigh and shin bone that distributes body weight evenly through the knee joint. I had to have surgery, and it's been very difficult getting back on my feet.  (see more)

it was only my second time ever snowboarding and i thought i could hit up the expert hills...apparently not because i had to be carried down the hill by "ski-doo ambulance" because i hit some mowguls i couldnt see and i sprained my wrist, cut open my side and got a minor concussion. ouch! (see more)
