What You Don't Like About the Holidays

Being subjected to Christmas carols in every shop I enter. I worked in retail store around Christmas one year and wanted to kill myself with the constant rotation of Christmas music. It was HORRIBLE. (see more)

The fact that every year I must suffer in relearning my lessons about eating too much chocolate/sweets/dinner etc and feeling seriously ill afterwards =P (see more)

time is passing by really fast..
reminder that you are getting older...
reminds you of loved ones that have passed away & saddly that they are not around anymore.. (see more)

trying to find different outfits everytime someone sees me, i dont want people think ive only got one outfit LOL. or im pov lawl ;D (see more)

Holidays = Pressure. Period. No matter which one is celebrated, the stress and utter intimidation is always evident throughout the season. It starts with the intense studying for semester finals, followed after by the expected spirit of giving (decided by your upbringing and creed), then it finally ends with having to go back to work half-baked and hung-over after a late New Years party. For me, the holidays have never been a celebration, rather a depressing reminder of our weaknesses and mortality. (see more)

I hate the fact that people expect me to celebrate a stupid holliday that was created just so the business world can cash in.. all this crap about the christmas spirit? yeah right! why do the same companies lay off thousands of their employess right before christmas? why do the k marts and walmarts and department stores slash the prices the day AFTER christmas? christmas spirit? HYPOCRITES! why do they feel the need to exploit jesus for their own selfish profits?... how many of you realise that the image of santas clause as we know him today was created by coca cola? (look it up) hmmmm
christmas..if u want to go out and celebrate ( i dont know what there is to celebrate ) then fine.. we are manipulated at a young age to believe this crap..at school..at home.. on tv..at the mall.. with songs..etc..
christmas is a joke and i wont buy into it nor will i put a stupid tree which has no meaning up :)

I have kids so putting up decorations is a blast, but I HATE taking the stupid things down. Every year I am under the misguided impression that they will by some miracle fit neatly back into the box that they came out of. Every year I loose my temper and burn a pile of empty decoration boxes. Oh, and while we're at it, all toys should come fully assembled!!! (see more)
