What would you say to your kid(s) about santa?

Santa is representational of the spirit of St. Nick who brought joy to those less fortunate.
Even though he doesn't actually come into our house each year and bring presents... we remember his selflessness by imitating the tradition of gift giving with no thoughts of what we are getting in return.

KID: Dad, Who is santa?
ME: Santa is just some fat guy that people your age think comes down the chimney and gives you presents on christmas. Hes not real.
KID: Then why do people think that he is?
ME: Because the parents are stupid enough to let a fake person take the credit for all the money that they wasted. (see more)
