Thoughts on the Inauguration

-The Inauguration made me realize that this country needs something: The US needs an election reform. I really think that if 18 year-olds didn't get to vote, the election would have been a lot closer. I'm not hating on Obama, I'm hating on the uneducated 18 year old voters who voted for him. I went around asking people for the school newsmagazine who they would vote for in September, and when the majority said they'd vote for Obama. When asked why? I got the stupidest responses ever. "Because he's cool." my response? "really? i didn't know being cool could pull the economy out of a recession." "Because he can fix the economy." my response: "Well no shit. McCain can do that too. And Ralph Nader, and Alan Keyes." "Because he's black." my response? "Alan Keyes is black. Why don't you vote for him too? In fact he was in Borat." We need to change the voting age to 25, the age when most people are actually mature enough to make decisions. So suck it. (see more)

Obama is now our President by a major landslide. Does anybody care that while he was a senator of Illinois, he was virtually invisible to the U.S as a whole? Does anybody care that we are in a state of war (caused by our last president) with a Commander-in-Chief who's only military experience is in war movies and STRATEGO? Does anybody care that John McCain also promised a solution to the recent Wall Street crash? Does anybody care the most African-Americans voted for Obama purely based on the color of his skin? Does anybody care that one of the reasons Obama was elected was because he was a democrat, just like Bill Clinton, and NOT George W. Bush? That most voters have a tendency to to disregard their own advice? Practice what you preach, people! (see more)

the inauguration was a chance for people to see the normal side of barack obama. whie he was walking, you could see the nervousness on his face. also, when he was being sweaed in, you could see that he is just like everybody else when he forgot what to say (see more)

obama actually had some cool shit. like when he said that more money should be printed so that more money could be circulating 'round the economy. and then like through taxes it will go back to the government. thats some smart shit. lol (see more)
