no, they've already said that the movie tie-ins will be a completely seperate continuity.

We don't know quite yet but they have said that Hama will be involved, so that's a good sign!

Yes! Can't wait for WWIII issue #35! BTW, IDW picked up the license and will release their Joe comics in October '08.
