Selfless Act of the Week

I am currently interning as a Student Nurse at the hospital doing about 48 hours a week... So one day, I had a patient who was newly diagnosed with Cancer. I noticed that she had no family visits, and she was all alone in an isolation room. She would always call the nurses because she was lonely. She was calling a lot, so I answered her. She said she was cold. I ran and tucked her in with a warmed up blanket. I just sat down and talked to her... All she wanted was a conversation, and that meant so much to her. We were talking for almost a whole hour about everything (The lady had lived a very interesting life). Right when I had to leave, she told me how I made her day, and made her so much happier by having someone there to talk too... She told me that the hospital was the loneliest place in the world, and I can see that. It made me happy inside that I made a difference in her life.  (see more)

Well on occasion I’ve been known to help people broke down , it just bugs me to see people stranded . The other night ( bout 12am) I was on my way home and see a dude in a big truck with his wife broke down so I stopped to help em out ... well the dude didn’t have a jack so I let him use mine , he also didn’t have a lug wrench big enough so I told him ill be right back .. I drove to wal mart down the road and bought a lug wrench and a flash light , went back and the tire was so damn tight we had to beat the damn lugs off with a hammer just to break em loose ... well needless to say it took me about an hour of my time ,, the dude would have never got the tire off by himself ,,,,,,,,and that’s about it .. But I felt good knowing they was on their way home now instead of sitting in the dark on the side of the road ....  (see more)

Well the other day i was at work taking a dump, and there wasn't alot of tp left, so instead of wiping i just left, so that some young lady who might have to pee could wipe. Beat that tire change guy, lol (see more)
