My shirt is salmon, but my nipples are clearly pink. More importantly, I am acutely aware of the perils of breast cancer...
Not to get all serious, but my Mother was diagnosed with Stage IV Breast Cancer in early 2006. The 5-year survival rate from this - the penultimate stage - is a mere 20%. That means that only 1/5 women with my mommy's severity of cancer survive even 5 years. Not good odds...
Luckily, as most cancer survivors I've met, my Mom is a fighter. She's scrappy and she kicks ass - be it people who picked on me as a kid or mutant cells!
What is most sad about this is that if we wanted to, we could probably find a cure for cancer, but we'd rather spend considerable sums of both money and time researching how to give octogenarians raging hardons and middle-aged men their hair back...
Anyway, sorry for preaching...
but c'mon WORLD...
Get your priorities straight...for n_tizzie's sake!

True. It's happened quite a bit, actually. I don't know many people who haven't...come to think of it - and the ring gives me away (and the farmer's tan, too, I guess)...lol
