Awkward Valentines Surprise

in music class, some geek got up, got his flute ready, and sang a short song to me, ending with, "will you be mine?" and i was like hiding, it was so akward!

In second grade, you know, back when boys were icky, I received a REAL Valentine card. A grown up, Hallmark card, with people kissing on the front. Kissing! I guess the boy liked my h-o-t perm and wanted to give me something special and different instead of a "I ch-ch-chose you!" valentine like the rest of the class. Absolutely horrified, I showed all my friends at recess and declared that he had cooties. I think I managed to completely embarrass him, and I feel bad about it now! (see more)
