actually tey never showed him die and tobi has his mask only opened on left eye (obitos kept eye), also tobi has n his side bolts and stuff tht loolike there keeping him togethere (there s the damage)

oh w8! 4-get my opinion about tobi being obito! becuse obito's left eye(or right watevr) was crushed and gave his other eye to kakashi, PLUS hes was killed(crushed) under a rock/boulder and died

wellhe tells pein (akatsuki leader) tht he is madara uchiha probably to scare him, because pein secretly takes orders from tobi (if pein knew it wasnt madara he might kill him)

it is because madara has an evarlasting(unchanged like kakashis regular) mangekyou sharing, an tobbi has a regular sharingan in a manga chapter (madara is unable to chnge his back they stay mangekyou
