Its good but not acurate, its only little thing tho that people dont really care about, like hairstyles, kimono, type and pattern of kimono , things like that. The one thing i really hate about it is that it can give the impression that a Geisha is a prostitute to someone who doesnt kno what they are!

nope.. i read the book before there was talk of a movie..i feel the movie may spoil it for me..i have heard its a good movie tho..

I first read the book, Memoirs of a Geisha, and you hear alot of ideas of what a geisha really is so i wanted to find out, i read more books, joined online forums, and just kept up to date with the Geiko and Maiko of Kyoto...

This is my favourite, she is called Kotoha, she has recently had her Erikae, from Maiko to Geiko (geisha)!
