Like Freddie Wong from youtube created, on rollercoaster day you take the day off from school work whatever it is and go to the closest amusement park near you and have a blasty blast all day long (every year it'll be on a random day mostly around spring though) (see more)

Caligula, Roman leader know for extreme excess, perversion and possible bi-polar disorder leading him into a downward sociopathic spiral. On Caligula day we don't use our phone for anything but calls, no facebook, no self-agrandizing tweets, no turbo shot in the coffee, no supersizing, no bacon covered anything, everyone cooks themselves a decent meal, no takeout/delivery, no strip clubs, hookers, or one night stands, no cocaine, stop after 2 drinks, only a little TV, and get to bed by 10. And if anyone turns on Jersey Shore, Real Housewives, Dance Moms or the like, it is traditional custom to flick pennies at them. Basically a day where you just live your life without excess, at the end of which friends and families gather and talk to each other without distraction, with intent.
