Missed Round 1? Here's your chance to join! 1st place winner from The Next Big Superstar Online will be flown to Miami to compete in the grand finale against the finalists from The Next Big Superstar Tour. The grand finale winner will win a recording contract!
Competition Rules:
- Entry deadline is October 30th, 2009. Voting Deadline is November 2nd, 2009.
- Open to all ages. (Parental Content advisory) Parental Consent will be required for the 1st place winner, if the winner is under the age of 18.
- The top finalists will be chosen based on online votes and all feedback of performances. Ultimately CEO, Ted Lucas, will make all final decisions.
- Videos must be in English.
- Videos must be the original work of the entrant.
- Videos must be between 15 seconds and five minutes, unless additional minutes are purchased. The online Contest costs $50 for an audition up to 5 minute. If you decide on more time, it will cost you $10 per every additional minute. The maximum length of your video cannot exceed 7 minutes.
- Limit of one entry per user, per competition.
- Videos with nudity, alcohol, illegal drugs, firearms, racism, excessive profanity or any other content that Slip N Slide Records finds distasteful will be disqualified.
- Video must be original rights free content from the member that created the ibeatyou/snsworld account used to upload the video. Ibeatyou/snsworld member must be in video. Basically, it should be you!
- All entries and votes will be monitored and cheaters will be disqualified
- By entering the competition, all participants will indemnify Slip N Slide Records and any related participants from any and all liabilities arising from the competition.
- A purchase in the form of a credit card payment is necessary in order to enter or win this competition. Payments are non-refundable.
- Slip-N-Slide Records reserves the right to change and/or modify rules at any time.
- Content cannot be subject to any third party agreements and Slip N Slide Records, and any related participants, will not be required to pay or incur any sums to any person or entity as a result of their use, exhibition or exploitation of the idea or video or elements therein.
- Neither the competition entities nor any of their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates and each of their respective officers, directors, shareholders, agents and employees, nor any Internet access providers (collectively "Released Parties") are responsible for incorrect or inaccurate entry of information, human error, technical malfunction, lost/delayed data transmission, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, line failure of any telephone, computer or other network, computer equipment, software or any combination thereof, inability to access the ibeatyou web site, for problems uploading or downloading any competition-related materials from the web site, or for late, lost, damaged, misdirected, incorrect or incomplete entry. For purposes of these rules and details, receipt of competition entry occurs when ibeatyou's servers successfully receive the uploaded video file and record the required entry information.
- Competition entrants hereby grant Slip N Slide Records, and any related participants, free, exclusive rights in perpetuity to all content submitted to competition for any and all uses by Slip N Slide Records. including but not limiting marketing, merchandising, advertising, etc.

How do I enter?
You must first become a member of Slip N Slide World in order to register for “The Next Big Superstar” Contest. You then must click on the registration link. Please be prepared to upload your 5-minute video. After doing so, you will receive payment instructions.
What do I win?
The winner will receive a SNS trophy, sign a temporary agreement with SNS records and have a huge opportunity in becoming The Next Big Superstar of 2009 to get signed to our Label.
How many winners will be chosen?
10 finalists will be chosen from the Online Contest. There will only be 1 winner chosen of the 10 finalists by CEO, Ted Lucas, and the A&R Department of Slip N Slide Records.
How much does it cost?
The online Contest costs $50 for an audition up to 5 minute. If you decide on more time, it will cost you $10 per every additional minute. The maximum length of your video cannot exceed 7 minutes.
How will I know if I performed well?
Your performance will be based on the amount of votes and ratings that you have accumulated. Please keep in mind that there will be deadlines. Therefore, tell as many people as you can to vote for you as soon as you post your video. You will also be given various feedback by some of today’s hottest decision makers in the industry. (This may include Producers, A&R’s, DJ’s, and Major Artists from several major and independent labels.)
Can I really get discovered?
Yes you can really get discovered. Even if you are not a winner of the contest you still have high chances of getting discovered just by entering. Last season this contest resulted in 2 winners and only one was supposed to be chosen. One was a winner of his city and the other was a finalist in another city. Please keep in mind this contest is 100% legit and we take each and every audition very serious, in return we hope that you do the same. We also give the same undivided attention and feedback to our online contestants as we do at any of our shows. Time is Valuable!
Can I enter the “The Next Big Superstar” Contest more than once?
Yes, you can enter more than once. Every video you upload will be treated as an individual entry. Votes from separate entries/videos will not be combined. Separate payments will be required for each entry/video.
Can I vote for myself?
No you cannot vote for yourself. Your best bet is to tell as many people as you know to vote for you. The winner will not be chosen solely on votes, yet votes will strongly be considered based on feedback of performances. Ultimately CEO, Ted Lucas, will make all final decisions.
