Like the ones over your heart
Where people cut and slice away
You lose more every day

Numb inside you're lost to life
Dead you feel, holding the knife
Tensions high, regrets easy to find
Redirect the fear to the cancer in your mind

Will you stay in heresy
Living the consequences listlessly
It goes on and on and on and on
Stay on top, you'll die before long
Someday you'll realize what it means to be
