competition: What were you afraid of as a CHILD? (Read Rules!)

When I was a kid, my gramma would tell me if I didn't behave, "RED EYES" would get me. I really didn't have a clue who this red eyes was, or where he came from, but I know I was terrified of him. Everytime I'd see a reflector or the caution light from the train I'd freak out. Even now when I pull in my garage at night and see the little red light in the garage openers I smile and think about ol' red eyes.
