competition: What were you afraid of as a CHILD? (Read Rules!)

To this day I am still afraid of that purple dinosaur. Nobody who is around children all day long could ever possibly that happy. And why does he only come to life to the children when no adults are around? I work at a preschool and will run out of the room if another teacher pops in a Barney video.
