The city of Las Vegas' obsession with stomping on the homeless has gone from the ridiculous to the sublimely ridiculous.
As noted earlier on the Buffet, the city passed a law making it a crime to feed homeless people in the park. But now the city, in its rush to persecute people who already have nothing, has made it a crime to sleep close to urine or feces that has not been properly deposited. Dog or human is unclear.
So, even if you have a home, if you plan to hang out in a city park and take a nap in the afternoon sun, to be in compliance with the law you must first establish a 500 foot caca- and peepee-free perimeter.
