competition: Your last name

Long story, but this is what my grandma told me. Our family name originated from an abdicated Chinese emperor. He was running away from agents of the new government at the time. He got caught and was asked to identify himself, unable to give out his real family name or risk getting killed, he looked around for ideas of a fake family name. He only saw a pig and a river, so he choose river and the agents let him free. And "Ho" is how river is pronounced in Chinese.
