competition: What were you afraid of as a CHILD? (Read Rules!)

I saw a movie about it when I was little and was terrified of going to sleep for fear that I'd wake up in a coffin to the sound of a scraping shovel.... Still freaks me out... Then David Blaine conquered my fear, so there isn't anything to be afraid of anymore...
