competition: What were you afraid of as a CHILD? (Read Rules!)

When I was little I never wanted my feet to stick out the bottom of the blanket because I thought that monsters would bite them off. Seriously...lol....when I was old enough to realize it wouldn't happen....I always have my toes sticking out. :)
