competition: How did you find out of Michael Jackson's death?

well first iwent on facebook and there were like 30 status saying "i hope your okay MJ" then five minutes later my brother texted me saying he died. I was okay with it. It doesn't affect my life. I dont get why when a celebrity dies they get all the attention when a person dies about every 6seconds :\
