competition: Best Way to Ask Someone to Homecoming

Well Im in college now but when I was in highschool, this is how I asked my friend (later on girlfriend) I worked as an ancor man for my school news show, I remember right after the homecoming announcments, I got all nervouse, then I just said Breaking News, I want to go to homecoming with Shakia (Then Her Lastname) and then I continues sayin, we been friends for 2 years and were kicking this up a notch Ill pick you up for the dance at 5pm were we will enjoy some dinner then proceed to the dance were I will make your dream day come true, by the end of the night you will understand how I truly feel, lmao hahahahaha it was really really cheezy and since it wasnt live, it was pre recorded so I was sitting next to her in class lol I had to beg our tech teacher to let me pull it off, it took 20 trys for me to get it right but we got it recorded and it played for the entire school in the morning and she went for it, we later dated, then broke up :) but the point is it was romantic enough :)
