competition: parents use these excuses WAYY too much

Me: hey dad will u take me to school?

Dad: no. when i was your age i walked 3 miles to school, up hill both ways, in a foot of snow, with no shoes, in the freezing rain and 30 mile winds, with no coat....(yata yata yata, so on and so forth) haha
