I believe the photo ranking is separate from the contest. The sad thing -- a great winter active dog photo won't win because it only counts for 33 percent. Read the rules.

No offense, but I don't get this. There must be some kind of voter bomb or something. There are many more "ACTIVE" dog pics among the entries. So what is the actual criteria to win one of the competitions? Just votes or does GoPro get involved?

taken at the start of the 2012 Kuskokwim 300 Sled Dog Race in Bethel, West Alaska... -25F/-31C ambient temperature and windchills in the lower -50F/-48C range... and 300 HUNDRED MILES TO GO.. GOT SOUL?
