I think you need to show yourself doing it, or there's no way to verify the time. You could film the texting, instead of the timer.

best thing to do it just record yourself typing and then just time when you watch it... could save like a 1 sec just from pushing the timer and stopping it...

I had to watch the video a few times, but what it looks like to me is he typed it and text it so no when he starts typing the phrase the next word already pops up (I know I have the same phone).
