competition: Dumbest thing I did as a kid

one time i purposly lit a piece of paper and threw it in my plastic trash can..i was convinced nothing would happen..and it melted..i was staring at a growing fire..and like a dummy..i closed my door and put blankets under the door to try and trap the smoke in my room..i thought if i opened a window it would just leave..luckily the smoke alarms went off and my mom ran to my rescue..i could have died for real. kids do the stupidest things huh
