the 3 date rule is rediculous. If you like the guy/girl and you plan on doing "it" on the 3rd date, just do it already. No sence in waiting for it unless you have some sort of sick romantic fantacy that you need to fulfill by teasing your guy/girl for 2 and a half dates to "build up the anticipation"
