competition: Best Poem

How I've waited all the precious time.
Just making my way off the stage.
These memories are a thousand miles away.
That's how faces passed; it's waiting for simple melodies.
Making my way blankly ahead through the crowd.
And now I wonder, will these memories fade?
There's a world out there to deserve a little more everyday.
I close my eyes; on the inside when I fall apart... thinking about tomorrow.
This would never end, and waiting for something else out there.
Everything's so wrong, but I ain't got no need to make it all better.
Thinking times will never change as we go on and remember.
And this is how it feels when memories fade.
I can feel it in my heart, it won't interfere.
As our lives change, piece me back together
